SALES ASSOCIATE/PAINT TECHNICIAN

A well-established retail and distribution company in the north is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate/Paint Technician. Responsibilities of the Sales Associate/Paint Technician are as follows:

1. Assisting with the process of sale of all items in store.
2. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of in-store products.
3. Greeting customers and providing courteous and prompt service to them.
4. Ensuring that appropriate stock levels are maintained.
5. Ensuring that merchandise is kept clean and properly displayed.
6. Assisting in the paint mixing and colour matching process for decorative paint as directed.
7. Daily maintenance of paint mixing equipment.
8. Assisting with any other sales floor activities.
9. Assisting in the overall maintenance of a safe and presentable sales floor.
10. Assisting with the movement, loading, unloading and delivery of stock as required.
11. Assisting in destuffing of containers.
12. Assisting with annual stock-taking activities.

Required qualifications and skills:

1. 5 CSEC passes;
2. Excellent Customer Service and Sales Skills;
3. Strong interpersonal skills;
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills;
5. Basic knowledge of point-of-sale system would be an asset;
6. Good physical condition – ability to lift heavy objects.

Compensation:

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
