THE ACTIVITY SERVES TO LAUNCH THE SPORTS PROGRAMME AND PROMOTE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE.
The District Four Sports Committee will be hosting its first annual fun walk.
The purpose of the walk is to launch the district’s sports programme and to promote healthy lifestyles among the students, teachers, and the community of District Four.
The walk will be held on Friday, Jan. 18, at 9:30 a.m. The designated route is from the playing field of the Odsan Combined School to Barre Denis, then through the community of La Croix Maingot, and ending at the La Croix Maingot Combined School. The activity will culminate with a soca-cize session coordinated by Fitness Instructor Shanee Victorine.
The public is invited to participate.
