Minister for Equity, Social Justice, Local Government and Empowerment, Hon. Lenard Montoute, briefly announced the opening of new ICT centres in five communities within Gros Islet.
“Over the last few months we have been working on establishing Information Communication Technology (ICT) Centres throughout the constituency of Gros Islet,” the minister said. “I am happy to announce that over the next few days we will be opening five ICT Centres in Gros Islet.”
The new ICT centres are located in the communities of La Bourne, Des Rameaux, La Feuille, Riviere Mitant, and Grande Riviere.
The LaBourne ICT Centre was opened on Jan. 8. The Des Rameaux centre will be opened on Jan. 11, while the La Feuille, Riviere Mitant, and Grande Riviere centre openings are scheduled for Jan. 15, 16, and 17, respectively.
