Certificate in Sustainable Practices for Tourism Leaders

The Department of Human Development, Education and Employment (DHDEE), of the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (GS/OAS) is offering  scholarships in Sustainable Practices for Tourism Leaders through its Professional Development Scholarship Programme (PDSP) which will run from 23rd October, 2018 to 27th November, 2018.

The modality of the course is online and the language of instruction is English.

OBJECTIVE

To build local capacity of destination managers, owners and operators of tourism businesses, MSMEs, women entrepreneurs, community-based tourism leaders, tourism decision-makers and practitioners to implement good sustainability practices and projects.

ELIGIBILITY

To be considered for this scholarship opportunity, an applicant must:

be a citizen and/or permanent legal resident of Saint Lucia;

have a university degree at the time of applying for the scholarship;

be in a good state of physical and mental health to complete the programme.
