Primary Objectives

The primary responsibilities of this post are to ensure customer needs are adequately met and exceeded, to ensure that glass and mirror measurements are cut to specified size and shape, to provide adequate stock to specific departments and to ensure merchandise is appropriately and accurately stocked as reflected by the operating system.

Key Functions

• To accurately and efficiently cut glass according to the specification of customers
• To assist customers, generate additional sales and provide service excellence
• To advise customers on appropriate materials for their needs
• Assist with the handling and proper storage of goods
• Assist with stock take

Applicant Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• 5 CXC passes at general proficiency level including Mathematics and English Language
• Ability to calculate glass and mirror measurements and cut to specified size and shape
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
• Ability to act independently while performing required tasks
• Ability to work within a customer service environment
• Ability to use tact and courtesy

Applicant must be a strong team player, well organized, able to work under pressure, flexible and reliable.
