V.E. Medical, an established healthcare company, is looking for experienced and mature cleaners who are team players.  V.E. Meds is located in the North of the island. If you believe you have what it takes, apply to the address below.

 Basics cleaning abilities 

• Sweeping and mopping floors of various types.

• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.

• Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.

• Emptying trash cans.

• Washing and drying windows.

• Liaising with the line manager to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times.

• Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.

• Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.

Cleaning in Surgery Suite 

Full training will be given in comprehensive cleaning protocols, before, after and during surgery.

Applicants must be willing to learn and adhere to strict cleaning protocols, under the direct supervision of the Theatre Nurses.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is advantageous to fully understand written surgery protocol instructions

• Proven experience in a similar role would be an advantage

• Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment.

• Able to stand for extended periods of time.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.

• Available to work flexible hours, as needed.
