THE SRDF PLANS TO OFFICIALLY LAUNCH A LAWÒZ GROUP IN JULY.
The Cultural Development Foundation (CDF) recently participated in a Lawòz Séyans in Soufriere, bringing the spirit of community and cultural preservation to life. The initiative was hosted by the Soufriere Regional Development Foundation (SRDF) in collaboration with Lawòz group of Choiseul.



The Soufriere Regional Development Foundation (SRDF) is working to raise awareness and foster appreciation for Saint Lucia’s traditional flower festivals, with plans to officially launch a Soufriere Lawòz group this July, in preparation for the August 30 observance of the Feast of St. Rose of Lima.
The CDF has partnered with the SRDF to preserve and promote Saint Lucia’s rich cultural heritage. Through dedicated community outreach, the CDF reaffirmed a commitment to sustaining Saint Lucia’s enduring folk traditions. From spirited singing to captivating floral displays, the event stood as a powerful tribute to the beauty, resilience, and unity of Saint Lucia’s cultural identity.
