Windward & Leeward Brewery Limited - Sales Development Manager
The Sales Development Manager reporting to the Commercial Director will be responsible for analyzing and delivering sales reports whilst managing, developing and implementing new sales and distribution schemes in an effort to achieve the company strategy.
Duties & Responsibilities
Implementation
  • Support Sales Mangers and Category Managers to implement new strategies to ensure vision and mission of the company
  • Propose and communicate Sales target and calculate sales incentives on a monthly basis
  • Ensure the implementation and ongoing review of the new Route to Market (RTM) and processes through the coordination of all areas involved
  • Support Sales Manager(s) to implement new strategies to ensure service and productivity
  • Manage Sales Force Automation Tool and its reporting in order to support Excellent Outlet Execution through the sales force
  • Provide Sales Forecast and mange demand side of the business in the framework of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
Innovation
  • Develop & introduce new processes and activities to maximize resources productivity
Analysis
  • Sales penetration analysis re: budget and prior performance
  • Analyze and deliver sales reports for decision-making e.g. volume per customer, segment, channel etc
Plan
  • Follow the sales plan (by segment, new customers, current customers, channel etc) to understand sales performance
  • Track productivity of sales and distribution routes (Labour hours, Effectiveness, service, visit etc)
Strategy
  • Develop new Incentives schemes in accordance with the strategy of the company to increase volume, service and productivity
Budget
  • Monitory and report on assigned Budgets including Sales Force Automation tool and Sales Force Incentive Budgets making recommendations as appropriate
Qualifications & Experience
  • BSc. in Marketing, International Marketing and/or Business Management or similar field of study
  • Five years or more commercial and/or sales/marketing experience
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret, report and communicate results
  • Ability to simplify to provide insightful reporting
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in leading and managing a diverse team of individuals
  • Track record in challenging the process and leading effective change
