Vacancy - Sales Person
VACANCY
A boutique is looking for an experienced sales person to work in store at its Gros Islet and Castries locations. Persons leaving close to the area are invited to apply. Requirements for the position are:
- Greeting customers who enter store
- Assisting customers to find the clothing they are looking for
- Stocking shelves with merchandise
- Answering queries from customers
- Reporting discrepancies to supervisor/manager
- Providing guidance and advice on merchandise selection to customers
- Keeping store tidy which includes mopping, sweeping
- Attaching price tags to merchandise in store
- Keeping up to date with special promotions on merchandise and putting up displays
Personal Skills Required
- Able to work as part of a team
- Should be of smart appearance and persuasive
- Be comfortable working with members of the public
- Have a friendly and engaging personality
- Be helpful and polite
- Should be fit as person would be required to be on their feet for most of the day and be required to lift large amounts of stock
- Should be confident
Qualifications
- Primary or Secondary school certificate (Basic maths and computer skills)
- Previous experience in sales
- Strong customer service skills
- Be able to work in fast paced work environment
