AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: The incumbent will be responsible for processing customer payments, auditing sales invoices, issuing cash for RPM returns, reconciling payments received against daily sales and credit notes. The incumbent will also be responsible for reconciling and processing cash deposits daily in keeping with the company requirements and guidelines.
Auditing of all Invoices and Credit notes:
Ensure all customer invoices and credit notes are received and filed correctly.
Ensure all charge invoices have the appropriate signature for pickup customers.
Verification of Cash:
To manage and ensure that all deposits are done accurately and in dual custody.
Entering of Warehouse Invoices:
Ensure all Warehouse Invoices are billed using the Exact system and have all necessary signatures
Enter all manual Invoices and credit notes into the system daily and ensuring they are signed by the relevant personnel
Preparation of a Daily Cash Receipt Listing Report indicating the summary of the cash and cheque details (name of the name of bank, cheque holder, number, amount,).
Preparation of daily deposits for presentation to the Bank and Accounts Department.
Preparation of Daily Cash Reconciliation Report, comparing total cash deposited with total cash recorded on Settlement Reports.
Receive all petty cash bottle chits
Disbursement of cash for bottles
Preparation of Petty Cash Report for submission to the Accounts Department with authorized supporting documents.
Auditing of bottle chits:
The careful examination of all bottle & RPM chits to detect fraud and error
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: Associate Degree in Business OR Management
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Commercial Environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Outstanding Customer Service skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Ability work independently, cope with competing demands and prioritize tasks
