Blue Waters St. Lucia Ltd is inviting suitably qualified persons to join our team in the position of Plant Operations Supervisor.
The job incumbent is responsible for ensuring the efficient production of the right quantity and quality, on time and the right cost. He/she strives to ensure maximum equipment availability through the safe maintenance, repair and replacement of plant equipment and systems.
DUTITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Constant monitoring of industrial safety processes. must inform and take timely actions on any deviation that is generated in the development of activities
Organize space, equipment, manpower and other resource requirements for the effective operation and control of plant production according to company strategy.
Monitors targets for Line Efficiency according to applicable beverage standards and makes adjustments accordingly.
Identifies and drives opportunity for cost reduction by indicating non-value add system features and functions.
Plans, manages, and monitors the effective use of the human capital within Production.
Motivates team and encourages teamwork within to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
Manages, through the company’s Key Performance Indicators, the times which the equipment is available for production.
Ensures that all programs and procedures to prevent break downs are being followed (i.e. Preventive Maintenance, Work Instructions etc.
Ensures that downtime analysis is completed for all equipment breakdowns and that all necessary follow-up maintenance actions are carried out.
Oversees all spare parts warehouse indicators to ensure a proper control over the incoming and outgoing spare parts for maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Preferably at least a BSC in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory/coordination position in a production environment (preferably beverage industry)
