Job opportunity A commercial laundry service establishment in the north is seeking for an experienced customer service representative to join the team.
Position: Operations assistant/ Customer service Representative
Summary of Position:
The ideal candidate must have practical knowledge, experience, and hands on approach and must be self-starter, and must be capable of working efficiently & independently, To assist the establishment in providing general administrative support, ensuring that the company’s goals in financial management, cost reduction, staff support, customer satisfaction are achieved, ensuring a smooth & efficient running of the operation on a day to day basis.



Main responsibilities:
This role is responsible for the following: To manage the office and reception area ensuring that all customers laundry service activities, records, enquiries, billing is handled professionally and ensuring customer receive satisfactory clean laundry service in a timely manner as per the operating standard of the establishment. To also provide any other clerical and administrative support to the establishment as required.
Requirements
Ability to work flexible hours, weekends and or public holidays, a valid driver’s license would be an advantage.

General expectation:
Reporting to the director of operations’ maintaining good rapport with management Providing general support to the laundry supervisor, staff and management
Customer service-General Bookkeeping
  • Data management in following related areas
  • Cost management
  • Financial management
  • Record keeping, filing and correspondence
  • Inventory management
  • Receivables- Timely following up with customers on payments
  • Assist with strategic planning: Setting targets & budgets controls
  • Assist with sales, promotion and marketing activities
  • Daily reconciliation reports
  • Ability to Creating daily/ weekly/ business monthly performance reports
  • Assist Laundry supervisor in coordinating laundry service work orders.
  • Ability to maintain quality standard, and adherence to policies, and regulations.
Qualifications/skills
  • Associate degree in business management or formal training in job related field • Office management skills, basic accounting skills/ background
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite, data base management programs
  • Performs functions in QuickBooks & point of sales systems, accounting systems
  • Marketing and sales ability
  • Manage social media/ advertising and promotion, customer request and enquiries
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
