Summary:
Caribbean Grains Limited is a leading local manufacturer of both white and whole wheat flour and animal feed. We are currently seeking an Inventory Officer who will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and preparing the purchase orders, receiving, storing, issuing the goods, managing the stock levels and giving out the supplies from the stock.




Roles and Responsibilities:
Organize and coordinate perpetual physical inventory counts and cycle counts at the plant in line with inventory management policies and highlight variances to the Team Lead, Accounting Department.
Maintain the general ledger for inventory at the plants.
Coordinate with Production and Materials Management to reconcile inventory records.
Performing quality checks on product stock to ensure that they match the company’s standards
Maintaining and updating inventory records and preparing regular reports on stock movement to be shared with management.
Overseeing stock storage and arrangement and ensuring loss prevention
Receiving new purchases into storage and documenting properly and issuing the Goods Received documents.
Carry out valuation of stock after each count and identify obsolete or disused stock for disposal and write-off.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Team Lead.
Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.




Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
An Associate degree in a related field.
Working experience as an Inventory clerk.
Ability to analyze existing tools and databases.
Working knowledge of Sage 300
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Attention to detail.
Thoroughness.
Good data gathering, analysis and problem-solving skills
High ethical standards and integrity.
Organization skills and time management.
