Vacancy - Human Resource/Administrative Coordinator
Primary Objectives:
Responsible for performing a variety of human resource/administrative support duties. Assists in maintaining the human resource database and all employee records and files. Completes assigned reporting functions involving attendance statistics, termination, recruitment and other related assignments. Assists in informing new employees of human resource policies and programmes as needed. Performs office support functions for the General Manager. Accountant and Supervisors as required.
  • An Associate’s degree in Business/Human Resource Management or related field
  • A minimum of two to three years’ experience in Human Resource and administrative environment
Skills and Other Attributes Required:
  • Knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Understanding of human resource functions
  • Proficient in the use of HR systems
  • Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Knowledge of all related computer applications and internet proficiency
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Good planning organization and time management skills
  • The ability to be diplomatic, tactful and to maintain confidentiality
  • Detail-oriented, enthusiastic, accurate and self-directed
  • Numeral abilities and data entry skills
Role Summary
  • Maintains the company’s HR System
  • Assists in the processing of payroll
  • Administration of company benefits
  • Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining profession working relations with applicants, visitors, callers and business professionals
  • Assist in the coordination of special events, training workshops and meetings and assist in the organizing of staff activities
  • Provides assistance in the coordination of the staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure that a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used to hire staff
  • Assists with the coordination and conducting of new employee orientation
  • Manages the reporting and investigations of Employment related injuires
  • Provide executive administrative support to the General Manager, Accountant and Supervisors
