The successful applicant will be responsible for providing strategic and visionary leadership geared towards achieving maximum long-range profitability for the resort and optimizing guest service at our renowned 4.5 Star Luxury Resort.

RESPONSIBILITIES (among others):
Develops and executes business and revenue growth strategies to achieve short, medium, and long term operational and financial goals
Drives the company’s strategic vision
Oversees all aspects of the resort’s operations by exercising demonstrated knowledge and experience in all phases of hotel management including food and beverage, sales and marketing, revenue management and the rooms division
Delegates authority and assigns responsibilities to hotel department heads as per the organizational chart, and assures high-quality performance geared towards the resort’s maintenance of a reputation for dependable, friendly service with optimum achievement in guest satisfaction scores
Builds and enhances the company’s profile via participation in events, civic affairs and sales trips
Ensure KPI’s are set and used as a key measure for property performance and benchmarked against actual results
Possess excellent interpersonal and team building skills
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and conflict management skills
Confident communicator with a passion for delivering service excellence and exceeding guest expectations
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
Self-directed, highly motivated, and able to work independently
Able to project a professional image and maintain composure in high pressure situations
Highly organized yet flexible
Possess a high degree of attention to detail

Education & Experience
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a General Manager or in a similar role in a luxury resort environment
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel / Hospitality Management or a minimum of 5 years equivalent executive level managerial work experience in a luxury resort environment
Business and financial acumen
Experience developing and implementing strategic business plans
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail
