Vacancy for Maintenance Planning & Care Assistant
Blue Waters St. Lucia Ltd is inviting suitably qualified persons to join our team in the position of Maintenance Planning & Care Assistant.
To assist the Plant Operations Manager in having the Maintenance Department prepared for all internal and external audits, having spares and other resources available for maintenance schedules and to assist with the administration of the Maintenance Planning System.
Duties and Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Update and Issue Work Orders as per Maintenance Schedule
Identify correct part number and name of parts before adding to Inventory.
Issue/ Receive/ Update all parts on Maintenance Management system to maintain accurate records.
Assist the unloading of materials and parts/ creating space for storage of materials and parts
Assist in receiving and labelling of all spare parts and supplies managed by Maintenance and placing in designated storage areas.
Assist in materials picking and delivery to departments in a timely manner.
Support other department activities and achieve an efficient operation of the stores.
Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of parts required for preventive and corrective maintenance procedures.
Forecast the needs of the Maintenance Department by monitoring the consumption of materials and parts to adequate the inventory levels as needed with the help of the Preventive Maintenance Team
Perform stock counts to guarantee the accuracy of the inventory kept in the Stores.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
At least 2 years’ experience in or similar role; preferably manufacturing industry.
Basic Stores Management.
Experience in Inventory Control Management and Planning is considered an asset.
Basic Knowledge of Motors, Controllers, Circuits & Code of Electrical Installation is considered an asset.
