Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Counselors within the Caribbean to join our team. As a Counselor, you will be responsible for providing counseling services to individuals dealing with various mental health issues. Your role will involve the implementation of therapeutic interventions and support.

By using our platform counselors have access to a large variety of potential clients which span across the region. At Healthy Healing we promote independence for counselors. Therefore, all counselors are considered independent contractors for the business, giving them the flexibility to set their own working hours, and the opportunity to build their clientele while also selecting the types of clients which can have access to their services. Additionally, because services are rendered solely through the online platform counselors can work from home if they choose.

Potential Responsibilities

- Conduct individual counseling sessions to address clients' mental health concerns

- Utilize evidence-based practices to develop treatment plans tailored to each client's needs

- Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and skill development

- Facilitate couples counseling sessions

- Conduct evaluations to assess clients' mental health conditions and provide support

- Collect and analyze data to monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

- Stay up to date with current research and the best practices of your field

- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with the laws which regulate mental health provision and data protection

-Knowledge of, and adherence to the data protection laws and regulations within the Caribbean region for client’s medical information.

Academic Qualification and Experience

- Master’s in : Clinical Counseling, Psychotherapy, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Social work or a similar qualification in a related mental health field

- Bachelor’s Degree in: Behavioral Science or a similar qualification in a related field

-Preference for a minimum of 2 years of experience as a counselor

Requirements

- Valid university certification of your degree to be a practicing counselor

- Experience in therapy for adults, couples, and/or teens

- Desktop or laptop computer with a reliable internet connection and a webcam

Job Details

-Session setting: Healthy Healing Counseling Services platform

-Work Location: Remote/ Work from home

-Independence to choose your work hours

-Willing to work on weekends

-Payments are made weekly

- Compensation is calculated by the number of counseling sessions held per week as well as the type of session. Compensation can range between $30- $40 XCD per session.

-Compensation is subject to increase after 5 months.
