1. Claims Clerk
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications – 8 CXC passes with grades 1 or 2
- Excellent written and spoken English. A knowledge of French Creole is an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be computer literate
- Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic attitude, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanour, self-motivated, creative and innovative.
- Exposure to the Insurance industry would be an asset
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective administration of all claims
- Provide efficient and reliable customer service and to contribute positively to the reputation and profitability of the company
- Undertake special projects as required
2. Compliance Clerk
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications – 8 CXC passes with grades 1 or 2
- Excellent written and spoken English. A knowledge of French Creole is an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be computer literate
- Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic attitude, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanour, self-motivated, creative and innovative.
- Exposure to the Insurance industry would be an asset
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure Adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures
- Administer the clerical function of the Compliance Department
- Provide efficient and reliable customer service and to contribute positively to the reputation and profitability of the company
- Undertake special projects as required
3. Senior Claims Officer
Qualifications
- Tertiary level qualification from a recognized institution
- Insurance Certification
- Minimum of 3 years in related field
- Sound knowledge of Financial Services regulations, current industry trends and procedure
- Excellent written and spoken English. A knowledge of French Creole is an asset
- Access to a vehicles is an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be computer literate
- Excellent negotiating skills.
- Analytical ability.
- Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic attitude, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanour, self-motivated, creative and innovative.
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective administration of all claims
- Conduct Damage Assessments
- Conduct site visits and surveys
- Ensure Adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures
- Provide efficient and reliable customer service and to contribute positively to the reputation and profitability of the company
- Supervise the Claims Clerk
- Undertake special projects as required
4. Underwriting Clerk
Qualifications
- Insurance Certification
- Minimum of 3 years in related field
- Sound knowledge of Financial Services regulations, current industry trends and procedure
- Excellent written and spoken English. A knowledge of French Creole is an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be computer literate
- Excellent negotiating skills.
- Analytical ability.
- Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills
- Enthusiastic attitude, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanour, self-motivated, creative and innovative.
Principal Responsibilities
- Accept insurance business on behalf of the company, based on the insurer’s underwriting guidelines
- Process, issue and dispatch all insurance documentation
- Provide efficient and reliable customer service and to contribute positively to the reputation and profitability of the company
- Undertake special projects as required
Remuneration
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
