Resort Shop Sales Attendant

Role Summary

All shop attendants are Customer Service Representatives with additional responsibilities; therefore they should provide the highest level of

customer service. Promote and sell all items in the shop while displaying pride and confidence in the product and the company. All team

members must know how to use the Point of Sale (POS). Customer Service Representatives should possess total product knowledge of all items

in the shop. Customer Service Job Description only apply to cashiers, the following are the additional duties and responsibilities assigned

specifically to the cashier. The cashiers are responsible for the flow of sales in the shop to include credit card, room charge.

Duties & Responsibilities of the position

 Open the POS and entering amounts

 Greet the guest entering and leaving the shop.

 Assist the guests with the request and questions.

 Keep the clothes folded and neat.

 Restock the shop floor.

 Answer the telephone using the Resort Shop Standard.

 Assist the Resort Shop Manager or Supervisor when required.

 Conduct inventory spot checks.

 Ensure all the equipment, furniture, items and the storeroom remains clean and in good working conditions.

 Ensure the Resort Shop logbook is read daily, and sign on it at the beginning and at the end of the shift.

 Promote and sell the Resort Shop items, knowing the most important aspects about them.

 Attend all training sessions organized by the shop and the resort.

 Ensure the highest level of service quality and guest satisfaction.

 Attend departmental meeting.

 Inform Resort Manager of any concern, doubt, complaint, etc.

 Learn and practice the Sandals Quality Advantage Card (SQA) and bring it with you all times.

Qualifications and Experience

 5 CXC or ‘O” levels

 Certification in the field of Retail

 One (1) year experience in a similar position
