Update: House of Assembly meets tomorrow

THE HOUSE WILL ALSO MEET ON THURSDAY, AT 9 A.M.

A Sitting of the House of Assembly is scheduled for Wednesday April 29, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. and Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., where the debate on the Estimates of Expenditure 2020/2021 will take place. A report of the Meeting of the Standing Finance Committee will also be presented.

The following Motion is down for consideration: BE IT RESOLVED that the House of Assembly do adopt the Report of the Standing Finance Committee on the Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year 2020/2021 in the sum of ONE BILLION, SIX HUNDRED AND NINETYSEVEN MILLION, THREE HUNDRED AND TWELVE THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($1,697,312,800) as a charge against the Consolidated Fund and other funds of the State of Saint Lucia.

In keeping with the protocols established by the authorities for management of the Coronavirus virus (COVID 19) crisis and with a view to ensuring that there are established protocols members of the public will NOT be allowed in the Chamber Gallery during the Sittings.
