President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s victory in the presidential runoff held on 25 October 2026 secured him a fourth term in office.

Saint Lucia values its friendship with Brazil and looks forward to continued cooperation, particularly on food security and access to affordable food for our people. Saint Lucia looks forward to building on existing trade in poultry, beef and pork to advance cooperation on food security.

Prime Minister Pierre wishes President Lula good health and every success in his new term, and extends best wishes to the people of Brazil for their continued progress and prosperity.
