THE ISLAND’S PORTS CAN NOW SIMULTANEOUSLY ACCOMMODATE TWO QUANTUM-CLASS VESSELS.
The newly-extended Dolphin berth at Pointe Seraphine welcomed its first Quantum-class vessel, Anthem of the Seas, on Jan. 13, 2018.
Following extensive renovation work, Saint Lucia’s ports are now capable of simultaneously accommodating two Quantum-class vessels. As a result, Saint Lucia is now poised to record its highest ever number of cruise passengers with the projected arrival of over 800,000 passengers for the 2017/2018 cruise season.
The Dolphin berth extension project entered its final phase last year, and on Dec. 10, 2017 was back in service for regular ships.
