Operations at sea ports and SLASPA headquarters

CUSTOMERS ARE ADVISED TO ADHERE TO SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES.

The Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA) advises all stakeholders that in keeping with the established protocols for COVID-19 as it relates to social distancing, all persons transacting business at the sea ports (Port Castries and Port Vieux Fort) and the Headquarters building are to adhere to the following: · All customers will be directed accordingly by the Port Police Officer(s) on duty at the respective locations. · At the Castries sea port a maximum of 10 ten customers will be permitted in the barrel section and 10 customers in the commercial section of shed 6. · At SLASPA Headquarters, a maximum of 4 customers will be facilitated in the reception area. · At the Vieux Fort sea port, a maximum of 10 customers will be permitted in the cargo shed, 2 customers will be permitted in the Operations Office and one (1) at the Cashier.

A waiting area will be available at the various locations for customers. Within the waiting area, the 6 feet for safe distancing must be maintained. Cargo Shed deliveries at the Castries and VF Seaport will be from 8:00am – 12:00pm. Other deliveries will be from 8:00am – 4:00pm. Cashier services at the Castries Seaport will be available from 8:00 am – 3:30pm.
