(Media Release) WASCO advises of temporary water interruption

by WASCO
REGIONS SUPPLIED BY THE BEXON PUMP STATION WILL EXPERIENCE A TEMPORARY INTERRUPTION IN THE WATER SUPPLY ON MONDAY.

WASCO would like to inform customers that the pumps at the Bexon pump station are faulty and will require the replacement of motors and other interventions to get them functioning.

Electricians are currently mobilizing to undertake the necessary repairs. The repairs will take a few hours, with electricians anticipating that at least one pump should be operational by afternoon time.

As a result of the repair work, the following areas have been adversely affected: Sarot, Vannard, San De Fere, Millet, Jacmel, Morne d’Or, Roseau, Marigot, Tete Chemin, Barre Denis, Barre De Chausee, La Croix Maingot, Belair, Fond Mange, Ti Colon, Odsan, and all other areas within the south Castries region supplied from the Sarot and Barre Denis tanks.

WASCO wishes to apologize for the inconvenience but assures the public that all efforts are being made to address the issue and restore the supply at the soonest.
