Media Release: Tropical weather outlook

A TROPICAL WAVE IS EXPECTED OVER THE REGION BY FRIDAY. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED.

Lingering moisture and instability in the wake of a tropical wave is expected to continue to produce some scattered showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms over the region during the next 24 hours.

Another tropical wave located several hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h and is expected over the region by Friday. A third tropical wave located over the eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 15 mph or 24 km/h.
