The Department of Health and Wellness informs the public that the Molecular Biology Department within the Ezra Long Laboratory, where the SARS-CoV-2 testing is conducted, will be closed from Thursday, December 31, 2020 to Saturday, January 2, 2021. The temporary closure of the Molecular Biology Department for this period of time will result in a delay in the processing of COVID-19 test results. People who are either travelling or undergoing surgery, and who require a PCR COVID-19 test, are asked to get tested at the Respiratory Clinic on a day best suited to obtaining their test results in time. During this time, the Ezra Long Laboratory will be administering all of its other lab services to the public. The Department of Health apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and requests the patience and cooperation of the public. Related Articles
