THE APRIL OBSERVANCE CELEBRATES THE TALENTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF YOUNG PEOPLE, AND HELPS ENCOURAGE THE YOUTH.
The Department of Youth Development and Sports will launch National Youth Month next week, ahead of the observance which begins on April 1.
The observance was designed to promote strong youth involvement, and emphasize youth empowerment, through a series of national and community activities.
The launch of the 2018 National Youth Month will take place at a press conference on March 20 at 10 a.m., at the conference room of the Department of Youth Development and Sports. The launch will include the unveiling of the 2018 calendar of events for National Youth Month.
National Youth Month celebrates the talents and achievements of young people, and helps encourage the youth.
