Media Release: Hearing aids to be delivered next week

by Ministry of Health
PERSONS WHO WERE MEASURED FOR CUSTOM HEARING AIDS ARE ASKED TO REPORT TO THE NATIONAL CULTURAL CENTRE ON APRIL 12.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness hereby notifies all persons who were measured for custom hearing aids during the Starkey Hearing Foundation’s visit, at the Phillip Marcellin Grounds in Vieux Fort, in January, to come to the National Cultural Centre on Thursday, April 12 from 7 a.m., to receive their brand new hearing aids.

Persons who can’t hear properly or believe they have a hearing issue are invited to walk in on Friday, April 13, from 7 a.m. at the National Cultural Centre for screening. If you qualify for a hearing aid you will be fitted with one the same day.

The Ministry of Health encourages all Saint Lucians with a hearing issue to take advantage of this life changing opportunity on April 12 and 13, as the Starkey Hearing Foundation will fit over 600 persons with hearing aids absolutely free of charge.
