National Fairtrade Organization (St. Lucia) Inc - Product & Quality Assurance Controller
National Fairtrade Organization (St. Lucia) Inc. is seeking a proactive and well-rounded agricultural technician to fill the post of PRODUCT & QUALITY ASSURANCE CONTROLLER.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall output of the Product Management Unit. The Product & Quality Assurance Controller will be required to provide supervision in areas such as Farm Management & Record Keeping; Soil and Water Management; Management of Pest and Diseases; Production Forecasting; Compliance with Food Safety Standards; Adherence to Quality Specifications.
It is expected that the ideal candidate would be a team-builder and also coordinate training programmes for Staff and Farmers.
The Product & Quality Assurance Controller shall report directly to the Organization’s General Manager.
The following qualifications and skills are required:-
- A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related discipline
- A minimum of three years work experience in a supervisory position (preferably in the banana industry)
A good working knowledge of the Creole language would be an asset.
Remuneration shall be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
