M&C Ltd - Senior Accounts Officer
Our Senior Accounts Officer provides support in administering the Company’s financial management accounting systems and internal controls. Ensuring that financial policies, procedures and objectives are adhered to, systems are efficient and effective in operation and are consistent with the objectives of the Group. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the preparation and development of annual strategic plans, budgets and estimates for the various departments, in collaboration with the managers.
- Provides accounting and operational support to internal clients as assigned.
- Assist the Group Accountant in providing an internal audit function to ensure requirements of statutory audits are met.
- Oversee the accounting functions of the Company including but not limited to authorizing and posting of accounting entries and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and Chart of Accounts.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Management.
- Completed accounting qualification to at least Level 2 ACCA or equivalent.
- At least four (3) years’ experience in a computerized accounting environment.
- Experience in budgeting, preparation of financial statements and management accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral & written communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
