Food Center St. Lucia Ltd - Down Trade Sales Representative
Primary Objectives: Must plan and execute a sales and delivery system that fully meets the requirements of customers within an assigned zone. Must maintain and increase customer base and ensure company’s product is readily available to customers. Must ensure all monies owing to the company are paid in full and credit terms are adhered to. Must perform a daily cash reconciliation. Must be integrally involved in all promotional activity for company’s products as required.
Qualifications: Tertiary level education which includes business courses, plus three years’ experience in either Sales, Merchandising or Trade Marketing.
Summary of Major Duties:
Achievement of sales and distribution targets

Consistently achieve sales and distribution targets.

Ensure complete coverage of zone.
-
Monitor and maintain customers’ stock levels.
-
Ensure products are effectively displayed.
-
Perform daily sales reconciliation.
Maintain and increase reseller base
-
Develop complete customer listing
-
Update customer list as required
-
Ensure consistent service and product satisfaction
-
Facilitate customers’ issues when required and seek manager’s assistance as deemed necessary.
Communicate trade information in a timely manner.

Inform manager of difficulties or issues being experienced.
-
Inform manager of changes in customers’ sales patterns and reasons for change.

Inform management of any changes in key personnel and/or system in the trade.
Participate in promotional activities that would enhance distribution

Inform customers of upcoming promotions within a reasonable time frame.

Ensure proper set up and display of promotional material.

Solicit customer feedback on past promotions
Act for Sales Representative in his/her absence

Ensure colleague’s portfolio is sufficiently covered in their absence.

Take initiative of making recommendations as deemed necessary.

Collection outstanding payments on sales rep’s behalf as is necessary.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Manager
