JOB PROFILE
JOB TITLE: Human Resource Officer
REPORTS TO: Managing Director
JOB TITLE: Human Resource Officer
REPORTS TO: Managing Director
The incumbent is required to perform the following functions among others:
- Lead the recruitment process and carry out all related duties
- Prepare job descriptions and maintain HR filing system
- Ensure HR policies are up to date, ensure compliance
- Co-ordinate training activities and travel arrangements
- Oversee the performance management system and follow up with managers/supervisors
- Organise Company activities and employee recognition programmes
- Effectively resolve staff matters and prepare reports as required
- Effectively handle disciplinary issues and provide advice to management
- Perform duties to assist the CEO such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes, preparing action lists, preparing correspondence
- Any other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) or related field with a minimum of 3 years of HR experience in a similar role
Required Skills & Abilities
- Outstanding human relations skills, conflict management skills, sound judgement
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Professionalism, confidentiality, integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
