Position: Chief Engineer
Position Summary:
The Chief Engineer is responsible for the short and long-term planning and day-to-day operations of the maintenance departments including the upkeep of all rooms, infrastructure, building exteriors and both public and back-of-house spaces.
The incumbent is expected to be proactive in monitoring the general condition of all buildings and surroundings at all times, examining the property regularly with a critical eye and resolving issues in a prompt and timely manner and to be a mentor to the
Maintenance Managers of Anse Chastanet & Jade Mountain Resorts.




Ensures that all programs and procedures to prevent break downs are being followed (i.e. Preventive Maintenance, Work Instructions etc.
Ensures that downtime analysis is completed for all equipment breakdowns and that all necessary follow-up maintenance actions are carried out.
Oversees all spare parts stock to ensure a proper control over the incoming and outgoing spare parts for maintenance.
Should also possess the following SKAs:
Ability to work well in a high pressure environment;
Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of staff throughout the company;
Ability to adapt and respond to changing work situations and environments;
Excellent organizational and planning skills;
Excellent Project and Time management skills;
Attention to detail;
Proven work experience as a Chief Engineer at a luxury hotel property;
Compensation:
