THEN THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR YOU! The Castries Constituency Council is seeking to employ the services of suitable, reliable and professional persons for the position above.
Qualifying Requirements
• Target group – between the age of 18-35 years, no gender or community restrictions/limitations apply
• Secondary School education
• Must have a pleasant, outgoing, energetic personality
• Must be self-motivated and results driven as well as to work independently with minimum supervision
• Must be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• Must possess strong organizing and time management skills
• Must be able to work well with teams
• Should be confident, assertive and tactful
• Fluency in a foreign language would be an asset
• Previous working experience in the same field or similar (providing Tour Guide or Customer Service to guests) would be an asset
To qualify each potential Castries City Ambassador/Tour Guide will be subjected to a training program:
The position will involve the receipt of the following:
• An Operating Permit to be renewed annually
• Periodic examination and performance evaluation
• Flexible operating hours – (As long as there is a Cruise vessel in the harbor and visitors available to offer assistant to)
• Tools/Equipment – Uniform; Safety; Communication
• Recognition and Reward programs
