The company manages the St. Lucia National Lottery in the island of St. Lucia, through its wholly owned subsidiary CBN St. Lucia Inc.
Our company seeks to hire a suitable candidate for the position of Marketing Officer to oversee the company’s marketing campaigns and create new innovative ways to communicate the company’s message to their existing and potential customers. Included in this role is your contribution to the development of the annual Sales and Marketing Plan and the overall support to the daily activities of the Sales and Marketing department. You will report to the Regional Marketing Manager and will provide reports periodically on the effectiveness of all marketing activities. A strong sense of self-motivation, innovation, hands on involvement and creativity are required personality traits. You will join a team and organization with a product line of several well established, well known national brands and you will assist in generating strategies to grow market share.
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, Sales or other related discipline from a reputable institution plus two years experience in sales and marketing at a supervisory or managerial level or an advanced diploma in a related field with four years experience in sales and marketing at a supervisory or managerial level. Demonstrated history of success in a fast paced retail environment would be an asset.
The ideal candidate must be passionate about sales and marketing and should have the right attitude and the aptitude to deliver. There is strong emphasis placed on decision-making ability as well as working within a team and independently. Time management is critical to this role including planning and organizing.
This position requires that the candidate have a valid driver’s license and a reliable working vehicle.
