THE POSITION
We are recruiting a suitably qualified Branch Supervisor to assist with the general supervision of branch operations and its employees. The branch supervisor will also interface with customers and contribute to the overall success and profitability of the branch.
The successful candidate will have key accountabilities as follows:
Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the systems, policies and procedures and promotional programs of Courts
Receive stock from manufacturers, the Distribution Centre and the branches
Ensure that stock is kept in good condition
Ensure that goods are presented attractively and that store is maintained in accordance with Visual Merchandising standards, using the Workforce application and creating dynamic and effective displays to drive sales.
Ensure that customer complaints are dealt with efficiently and in the best interest of the customer and Courts
Prepare Cash and Carry sales
Assist with the processing of payments from customers
Ensure cash is balanced at the end of the day
Monitor sales levels
Assist with supervision staff of the branch
Identify training needs for staff and report collaborating with the Branch Manager and Sales trainer to facilitate same
THE CANDIDATE




Education and Experience:
Associates in Business Management
At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory position within the retail industry
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer literate knowledge of Microsoft and Excel
Understanding of financial issues
Analytical and problem – solving skills
Good decision making and communication (written & oral) skills
Team – building skills
Inventory management skills
Good customer service skills
Good interpersonal skills
