Bay Gardens Resorts is seeking to hire an experienced, flexible and dynamic Restaurant Manager who
will be responsible for overseeing the general operations of the Restaurant Department.
The selected candidate will:
• Oversee the dining area, supervise food service staff in accordance with established operating
policies
• Create a positive team atmosphere among team members
• Ensure consistent quality service
• Effectively forecast restaurant needs
• Assist with the creation and organization of restaurant menus
• Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members
• Set high standards for appropriate team behavior on shift
• Work with the food and beverage staff to ensure proper food presentation and proper foodhandling
procedures
• Handle all guest complaints in restaurants
• Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and other services
• Total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts, and lock facility at end of day
• Be capable of handling irate customers with a friendly/calm attitude
• Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure most important tasks are completed on time
• Seek, listen, and responds to Guest feedback
• Coach team on how to exceed Guest expectations
• Be proficient in using computer software to monitor inventory, and perform other record keeping
tasks
• Be proficient in using the Point of sale (POS) software, inventory software, Restaurant guest
satisfactory tracking software etc.
Please note applicants must possess minimum:
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position
• Clean police record
