The National Utilities Regulatory Commission (NURC) has announced the launch of its new interactive website. The website was formally launched on Feb. 9.
The newly-designed website features a streamlined and simplified interface, enhanced functionality, and enriched content areas. The online platform, offers quick and easy access to essential information about the services offered by the National Utilities Regulatory Commission (NURC).
Chief Executive officer of the NURC, Jerome Jules, said the new website is part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and availability of information to the public. He said it also serves as a channel to encourage and facilitate public participation in the regulatory decision-making process.
Chairman of the NURC, Mr. Victor Poyotte, said the site provides users with accessibility to public consultation documents, policy documents, licensing guidelines as well as the ability to lodge and track complaints online.
The National Utilities Regulatory Commission (NURC) is a multi-sector independent regulator established pursuant to the National Utilities Regulatory Commission Act of 2016, to regulate utility supply services including, water, sewerage and electricity in Saint Lucia. In addition to providing information, the new website www.nurc.org.lc also serves as a repository and, a helpful tool.
