Windward & Leeward Brewery Limited - Sales Depot Clerk
Summary
Reporting to the Sales and Distribution Supervisor, this key position is responsible to accurately receive and dispatch goods at the sales depot
Duties & Responsibilities
- Reconcile the stock including empties at the end of the day
- Work with warehouse depot clerk ensuring transfers goods to the depot are accurately entered in EXACT
- Addresses and resoles customer complaints or issues or adequately transferring complaints to management
- Load the sales depot in preparedness for the following day sales
- Accurately receive returns from the walk in customers both for purchasing of goods and bottles
- Accurately dispatch products as per the invoice received from the cashier
- Reconcile stock at the end of the day with warehouse supervisor and submit reconciliation report to Sales and Distribution Supervisor
- Keep the vehicle log and vehicle inspection book
- Ensure maintenance and upkeep of work area
- Supervising of Warehouse Porters assigned as needed
- Strong organizational skills
- Possesses the ability to persuade customers to add onto their purchase OR to purchase different SKU
- Maintains a professional but friendly demeanour at all times - Customer friendly
- Ensure company policies and guidelines are adhered to
Qualifications & Experience & Competencies
- Diploma/Associate Degree
- Valid Driver’s license
- Computer Literate
- Minimum of two (2) years Sales Experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Team orientation
- Attention to details
- Commitment to results
- Customer oriented
- Accuracy
- Well organized
