Job Description
SGD Engineering Inc., a leading provider of HVAC and refrigeration solutions in St. Lucia, is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and organized individual to join our team as a Warehouse Assistant / Porter.
The ideal candidate must hold a valid driver’s license and be capable of performing physically
demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and responsibilities
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials/shipments and ensure proper storage in
designated locations.
• Retrieve inventory items from storerooms and prepare them for delivery to specified locations.
• Support inventory counts, stock checks, and record-keeping.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, safe, and organized condition always.
• Work independently as well as under the direction of supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively regarding tasks, issues, or
shortages.
• Assist with deliveries when required
• Required to work extra hours if required
Requirements
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move items as required.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain an orderly workspace.
• Team player with good communication skills.
