SALES ASSOCIATE/PAINT TECHNICIAN – CASTRIES & SOUFRIERE
A well-established retail, wholesale and distribution company is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate/Paint Technician in our Castries and Soufriere outlets. Your responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Greet customers and provide courteous and prompt service to them.
2. Assist with the process of sale of all items in store.
3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of in-store products to effectively guide customers.
4. Ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained.
5. Ensure that merchandise is kept clean and properly displayed on shelves in the retail store.
6. Assist in the paint mixing and colour matching process for decorative paint as directed.
7. Daily maintenance of paint mixing equipment.
8. Assist with any other sales floor activities, where needed.
9. Assist in maintaining a safe and presentable sales floor.
10. Assist with the movement, loading, unloading and delivery of stock as required.
11. Required to assist in destuffing of containers.
12. Assist with annual stock-taking activities.
Required qualifications and skills:
1. 5 CSEC passes;
2. Excellent Customer Service and Sales Skills;
3. Strong interpersonal skills;
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills;
5. Basic knowledge of point-of-sale system would be an asset;
6. Good physical condition – ability to lift heavy objects.
Compensation:
Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
