Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa and Serenity at Coconut Bay are seeking a proactive,
organized, and detail-oriented People & Culture Coordinator to join our team.
The People & Culture Coordinator plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture Department, helping to ensure a positive, informed, and supportive employee experience. This position supports a wide range of administrative and coordination functions and serves as an initial point of contact for team members seeking guidance, support, or information.
This role also supports employee-facing communication channels, including digital displays, flyers, posters, and recurring recognition materials such as Employee of the Month. The successful candidate will help ensure that all communication is accurate, engaging, visually consistent, and aligned with company standards, contributing to a positive and celebratory workplace culture.
As a member of the People & Culture team, you will provide timely and high-quality support to
employees across the resort while helping uphold the culture and service excellence for which Coconut Bay and Serenity at Coconut Bay are known.
Key Duties:
Serve as the initial point of contact for employees and job applicants, providing a warm, professional, and helpful experience while ensuring queries are addressed accurately and
promptly.
Coordinate and support the full onboarding process for new hires, including preparing
documentation, scheduling orientation, facilitating onboarding steps, and ensuring a
smooth transition into employment.
Assist the People & Culture team with daily operational and administrative duties,
including scheduling, communication, filing, and general departmental support.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in Workday and other HR systems,
ensuring data integrity, compliance, and timely updates throughout the employee lifecycle.
Support recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, screening and processing
applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates throughout the
recruitment process.
Assist with the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives and events,
including recognition programs, celebrations, and culture-building activities.
Prepare routine HR reports, assist with audits, and perform administrative duties to
support efficient departmental operations and compliance with company policies and
standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-driven environment
Ability to interact effectively with employees and management at all levels
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, or equivalent
qualification
One to two years of administrative experience, preferably in People & Culture or Human
Resources
Previous hotel experience is an asset and strongly preferred
