Job Title: Bartender/Cashier
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Bartender/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, managing cash transactions, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring accuracy in orders and payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments, handling cash, and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, and assist with ordering as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or busy shifts.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender or cashier in a restaurant, bar, or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be of legal drinking age and comply with local alcohol service regulations.
