JOB TITLE: Seasonal Loss Prevention Officer
DEPARTMENT: Retail
REPORTS TO: Store Supervisor/Team Lead
JOB SUMMARY Maintain a presence in the stores to monitor shoppers and employees alike by detecting and investigating unusual behaviors, shoplifting, fraud and other unlawful acts, etc. Assist in conducting and reviewing inventory related audits Assist as needed in providing excellent customer service experience Ensure that Covid-19 protocols are maintained and enforced within retail space PERSON SPECIFICATION Problem-solving and analytical ability Superior organisational and interpersonal skills Flexible, committed and punctual Accuracy and attention to detail
Good judgment to react effectively and efficiently in stressful situations Able to work independently and as a team Effective communication skills Excellent customer service and time management skills Strong observation skills, alertness and awareness. Ability to stand for long undistracted hours ACADEMIC AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must have completed secondary school, with minimum of 5 CXC subject including Mathematics and English. Experience working in a retail industry At least 2 years of security and or inventory experience will be an asset. Familiar with Microsoft Suite
