POSITION: Butler Services Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Butler Services Manager supervises all of the Major Domos, ensuring that each one is maintaining our high quality services in all sanctuaries. This position will also handle and resolve any opportunities or concerns from our guests. This person will conduct their duties in a courteous, safe, and efficient manner in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.




RESPONSIBILITIES:
Train the Major Domos on processes and duties along with any areas of necessary improvement
Ensure that all sanctuaries are prepared on time prior to guest arrival and guest preferences are logged and maintained
Coordinate with other departments
Promote hotel facilities, services, and products to the appropriate guest
Ensure flawless uncompromised and personalised service is rendered.
Ensure all Butlers have knowledge of in-suite services, technology and amenities and training Butlers in their performance and work-related activities.




SHOULD ALSO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKAs:
Ability to work well in a high pressure environment;
Ability to attend to challenging situations with outstanding problem-solving skills to perform service recovery;
Degree or Diploma in Hotel and Tourism, with at least 2 years in Butler Service or in Guest Services/Food and Beverage Service.
Qualification/certification in Etiquette & Protocol
Profound knowledge of wines and spirits
Profound knowledge of Housekeeping and Valet duties, Event Planning, Food & Beverage service, Silver service and Security.




Attention to detail;
Excellent organizational and planning skills;
Proven work experience as a Butler Services Manager at a luxury hotel property;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
Proficiency in First Aid, CPR and AED

Compensation will be influenced by the successful candidate’s qualification, experience and skill.
