Position: Woodshop Joiner
Prerequisites:
- Must have the physical ability to be able to periodically be able to lift and carry up to 100lbs, routinely up to 50lbs and continuously up to 20lbs during the course of your duties
- Must have excellent attitude and know how to work around people of mixed abilities in a busy woodshop
- Must know how to behave and carry themselves in the presence of guests, managers and team members alike in a hotel environment
Skills
- To undertake joinery work across the Jade Mountain & Anse Chastanet properties
- To repair and maintain doors, door frames, windows, furniture etc
- To have proven ability in the fabrication of doors, door frames. windows, furniture etc
- To undertake all joinery work as necessary in the maintenance of flooring, roofing, skirting ceilings etc
- To construct as and required cupboards, shelving, fencing, carcassing, simple formwork and pitched erection of roof trusses and flat roofing construction etc
- to undertake, as and when required, joinery work associated with major and minor new construction work
- Ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the requirements of Anse Chastanet Hotel and the woodshop manager
- Undertaking any other duties appropriate to the post objectives as required by management
