VACANCY NOTICE

WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT/DRIVER

A well-established retail and distribution company in the north, is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and customer-oriented individual to fill the post of Warehouse Assistant/Driver.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Assistant/Driver are as follows:

1. Assist with moving, loading and offloading of stock onto trucks for delivery to other outlets and island-wide as directed.
2. Pack and repack shelves and other storage and display units of the entire store as necessary.
3. Ensure that merchandise, and the entire work area of the Warehouse, are maintained daily in a clean and tidy condition.
4. Perform driving duties.
5. Assist with the timely and orderly delivery of products to company outlets and customers islandwide.
6. Perform activities related to the cleaning of compound and premises and vehicles operated by the Company as instructed.
7. Assist with all sales floor activities as directed.
8. Maintain a thorough knowledge of in-store products.
9. Perform any other job-related function which may not be stated herein, but may arise from time to time.

Required qualifications and skills:

1. 5 CSEC passes;
2. Excellent Customer Service Skills;
3. Strong interpersonal skills;
4. Detail-oriented;
5. Strong time management and organizational skills;
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills;
7. Good physical condition;
8. Valid driver’s licence.

Compensation:

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Training and development is provided to facilitate growth within the company.
