Senior Sales Associate (Job Description)
Responsibilities
Receive customers and assist them with the selection of merchandise
Display a courteous and empathetic attitude to all customers
Respond to customer inquiries and requests via telephone or in person
Greet, interact and monitor customers to assist the store in loss prevention
Display and organize products in a store for the customers to locate easily
Help customers in billing and payment processes at the storeβs counter
Communicate information about product availability
Identify current product pricing, competing products and new techniques of merchandising
Maintain the outlook of the store through dusting, cleaning and restocking items
Maintain a list of new/existing customers and communicate with them to discuss sales opportunities
Handle record keeping and maintain contact with clients to provide post-sales services, obtain customer feedback and resolve any arising customer issues
Obtain feedback from customers and relay information to management
Continuous learning to maintain current product and service knowledge
Collaborate with the team to maintain stock
Lead team in maintaining store display and show window standards
Provides guidance and training to junior sales associates, helping them develop product knowledge and sales skills
Handles complex customer inquiries and issues, ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction
Focuses on meeting personal and store sales goals, often working to develop new sales opportunities
Skills and Qualifications
