Vacancy for a Garage Administrator

Objectives of this role
● Manage Company Automotive Inventory Supplies
● Source Parts & Supplies and Re-order when necessary
● Represent the company positively and professionally in all interactions with customers and the general public
Responsibilities
● Maintain & Update the Filing System
● Monitor Drivers’ License due dates to ensure timely renewal
● Request vehicles for services and repairs in a timely manner
● Take an accurate record of any faults reported
● Keep an accurate record of all work done and all parts used on each vehicle
● Inform Reservations on the status of vehicles
● Ensure all Fleet Maintenance staff are gainfully occupied & tasks are being completed
● Keep the work area clean & tidy
● Make purchases & payments
● Safely handle & deliver documents & supplies
● Fill out and update all documentation relevant to transactions
● Provide administrative support to the Management Team as required
● Any other duties assigned by Management
Required Skills & Qualifications
● Valid driver’s license
● 5 or more CXC passes at Grade III or above including Mathematics & English
● Auto Mechanics background or knowledge
● Strong commitment to safety
● Committed to excellent customer service
● Excellent interpersonal, written & oral communication skills
● Working knowledge of office equipment
● Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Word & Excel
● Strong work ethic and personal integrity
● Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
● Ability to work unsupervised & demonstrate initiative
● Great attention to detail, excellent time management skills & team working skills
● Valid certificate of character/police record
● Valid tax account number
