Social Impact (SI) is a Washington, DC-area international development management consulting firm. Project Objectives:

This position will support two evaluation projects with the objectives of conducting an impact evaluation (IE) of a juvenile justice sector reform project and an IE of USAID’s Communities, Families, and Youth Resilience Project (CFYR), a package of crime and violence prevention community prevention programs in the Eastern and Southern Caribbean. Both evaluations are taking place in Guyana, St. Kitts and Nevis, and St. Lucia.

Position Description:

SI is seeking a Field Impact Evaluation Coordinators to manage field-based activities of the juvenile justice sector reform and CFYR impact evaluations in St. Lucia. For the juvenile justice sector reform evaluation, the Field IE Coordinator will support activities before, during, and after each of four rounds of data collection, including a panel survey, historical and current administrative data coding, and qualitative research. The CFYR evaluation requires Field IE Coordinator assistance with youth and parent quantitative data collection monitoring and qualitative data collection at baseline, midline and endline. The position will require travel within St. Lucia and possibly between the study countries. The evaluation period of performance is estimated to run between August 2017 and June 2021. The Field IE Coordinator will report to the U.S.-based SI Technical Director, and work closely with the evaluation Principal Investigator (PI), Research Assistant, other Field IE Coordinators, and the SI quality and management team. The anticipated level of effort over the next year is anticipated to be approximately 35% time. Given successful performance and client satisfaction, SI prefers to have Field IE Coordinators continue to work for the duration of the five-year project.
